Payment of Fees – Group Lessons / Hot Shots Classes / Squads
Term fees are due and payable by the end of the second week of term. Your payment holds your position/timeslot throughout the term. If you miss a lesson, we can try to organise a make up lesson (as long as there is an available position in a similar type class), but unfortunately we are unable to give refunds or credits for lessons that you miss. Once the pupil has started the term, the term fee is due whether the pupil completes the term or not.
Payment of Fees - Private Lessons
Private lessons can be paid on a week to week basis prior to the start of each lesson or can be paid as a term fee. Paying for the whole term in advance attracts a 10%
discount. This needs to be paid by the end of the second week of term or the cost reverts back to a weekly fee. Half hour private lessons cost $28, and an hour is $55. In the event a pupil pays a term fee and a class has to be cancelled (e.g. due to wet weather), we will try and make the lesson up or put a credit on your account against next term's fees or, if you are ceasing lessons, a refund.
Payment of Fees - Shared Private Lessons (also called semi-private lessons)
The cost for a half hour private lesson is $28 or one hour is $55. If you share that lesson with another player, the cost will be billed as and only payable as a term fee.
That way if only one player turns up, it is not the other player's responsibility to pay for the entire lesson.
What to Wear to Lessons
Clothing should be appropriate for the weather. Shorts and a T shirt when it's warm. Track pants and a windcheater for when it's cool. Don't wear clothing that will restrict your movement, e.g. jeans. Flat soled non-marking runners are also a must. Heels are not permitted on the courts.
We will do everything possible to run our programs as scheduled, however on occasion weather may force us to cancel. Decisions to cancel lessons will generally not be made until immediately prior to the scheduled lesson commencement time. Chris will send you a text message (SMS) as soon as a decision is made. If you don't hear anything, assume the lesson/class is on.
