Coaching fees are due and payable prior to the first lesson of the term. Your payment holds your position throughout the term. If you miss a lesson, we can try to organise a make up lesson (as long as there is an available position in a similiar type class), but unfortunately we are unable to give refunds or credits for lessons that you miss. Once the pupil has started the term, the term fee is due whether the pupil completes the term or not. Payments not made by the end of the second week will incur a $10 book keeping charge which will be added onto your reminder statement. *Payment of Fees - Private Lessons
Private lessons can be paid on a week to week basis prior to the start of the lesson or can be paid as a term fee. Paying for the whole term in advance attracts a 5% discount. This needs to be paid by the end of the 2nd week of the term or the cost reverts back to a weekly fee. In the event a pupil pays a term fee and a class has to be cancelled (e.g. due to wet weather), the cost will be credited against their account. (5% discount is not applicable to shared private lessons) Payment of Fees - Shared Private Lessons (also called semi-private lessons)
The cost for a half hour private lesson is $30. If you share that lesson with another player, the cost will be billed as a term fee (i.e. half each). That way if only one player turns up, it is not the other player's responsibility to pay for the entire lesson. Make Up Lessons
If you miss a lesson, we can try and organise a make up lesson. Check with Chris. Make up lessons are subject to places (and a suitable alternative class) being available. Unfortunately we are unable to give refunds or credits for lessons that you miss. What to Wear to Lessons
Clothing should be appropriate for the weather. Shorts and a "T" shirt when it's warm. Track pants and a windcheater for when it's cool. Don't wear clothing that will restrict your movement, e.g. jeans. Flat soled runners are also a must. Heels are not permitted on the courts. Bad Weather
On rainy or very hot days, Junior Group and Prep lessons will still be held at the regular time, but will be held in the clubhouse. We have an indoor program prepared called "Off Court Tennis". This includes quizzes, board games, puzzles, crosswords etc... all designed to educate the pupils about the rules, court positioning, tennis etiquette, tactics and the international tennis scene. And of course we still have our mini indoor tennis court with foam tennis balls. If it's raining or too hot, the lesson is still on. Private lessons, squad training, cardio doubles and adult classes are all subject to the weather. We will always attempt to phone and advise you if the lesson is cancelled.
